State Convention

122nd State Convention: April 24-26, Pierre SD.

• Election of Delegates. 2026 Change!! Grand Knights will register council delegates by completing the 2026 Convention Registration and Meal order form. Please invite and register any clergy intending to concelebrate mass and attend the Clergy Recognition Banquet Friday April 24, 2026. Guidance document

• HOTEL Info: Pierre Ramkota Hotel. Book your reservation directly at 605-224-6877
  • The “Knights of Columbus” Block of reserved rooms and special rates expire March 23rd, and will be released to the general public.
  • If attendees experience any delays in arrival, please call the hotel and State Warden Andrew Wolter, 515-313-6891 to see how we may be able to assist. 
• Supreme Convention Delegate Nomination Form. The 2026 Supreme Convention will be in Denver CO.  
  • Self-Nomination is allowed. Attendance at the State Convention is not mandatory.  Please review this process if you are interested and self-nominate, and let your Grand Knight/Delegates assist your nomination at the convention. 
  • Memo & Nomination Form are now available for the 2026 Supreme Convention, 3-6 August 2026.

• Committee Assignments.  Councils, check this out!  SD Johnson has released Committee Assignments before the convention!
  • The 3 standing committees will be conducting “virtual” committee meetings tentatively the weekend  before the convention, Sunday April 19^th or Monday April 20^th
