Annual Important Dates – 2026

• Anytime – Online Exemplification- On Demand (available anytime) www.kofc.org/ceremonials
• Traveling ICON – 2026 Schedule. Grand Knights – Please coordinate with your Pastor to host it in your district / pastorate.  State Program Director Ron Seaman is drafting tentative schedules now. It is very likely the icons will start at each diocese Cathedral. East River will schedule according to the Pastorates. While West River will schedule according to our established KofC Districts. 
• Silver Rose Schedule. 2026 Schedule.  Message to Grand Knights from Life Director Ray Campbell.
• Spring – Distribute Tootsie Roll Checks Immediately.  Please distribute checks to the organizations / individuals you designated. 
• March – June 15 – Complete Form SP7 and Columbian Award Applications. Filing early (even before the State Convention) is highly  encouraged. You’ve done the work – finish early and finish strong! Don’t wait until June 15th to report your successes!
• April 24-26. State Convention. Pierre Ramkota. see Events/State Convention 
• May 15 – Submit IRS Form 990-N to maintain the tax exempt of your council.  
• May – June  Elect next year’s council officers
  • Submit form 185 & 365 election results every year! Use member management for immediate reporting!
    • cc State Deputy, District Deputy, and the Admin Assistant. Provide GK / FS / meeting updates to SD Directory   
• June.  Summer Organizational Meeting & District Deputy Training. TBD
• July. SAFE Training. June submission on-line of 185 & 365 auto-generates training needed for newly elected officers July 1st.
• July.  Council Officer Training – Pierre. 1 day only!!! All Grand Knights, Financial Secretaries, Deputy Grand Knights – New and Old!  This will be a highly concentrated multi-session training event. Bring your laptops, gain critical hands-on knowledge navigating and accessing tools on the Supreme & State KofC Website, information and reports in Officers Online, Member Management and Member Billing just to name a few.  Contact your District Deputy and State Warden Andrew Wolter to register! Don’t miss this single event and start the new fraternal year on a solid footing!!! (6/30/2025)
• August 4-6, 2026 – Supreme Convention Denver CO
• August – September. New – Council Soccer Challenges  Start the year strong. Connect with youth & families in your community!
• September –  October. Tootsie Roll Drive for Intellectual Disabilities. 
• November  Mid-Year (Winter) Meeting.  
• December – January.  Youth Hockey competition. Inside / outside / on the ice / in the gym.  Another great opportunity with families.
• Free Throw Competition (new program page under development)
  • September – Order supplies: council certificates, entry forms, marketing posters, T-shirts, KC basketballs, district medals   
  • December – January – Council Free Throw Competitions 
  • February 1 – 15  District Free Throw Competitions
    • Feb 15 – Report District results on-line to State Youth Activities Director
    • Feb 19 – State Qualifiers determined – Top 8 in each age group.  District Deputies – invite qualifiers & thank non-qualifiers.  
  • March – State Competition, normally held 1st or 2nd weekend in Chamberlain, at National Guard Armory.
